For a business with several locations or service areas, individual location pages can genuinely help AI visibility, because they give a model a distinct, crawlable, plain-text page to tie to each place — the difference between being recommendable in one city and being recommendable in all of them. The benefit is real only when each page is substantively unique: a real local address or service area, the specific services and hours for that location, and content that reflects the actual place rather than a template with the city name swapped in. The trap is doorway pages — dozens of near-identical thin pages that differ only by a town name — which both search engines and AI systems increasingly discount and which can make a site look spammy rather than authoritative. Done honestly, location pages map your real footprint for a model; done as thin duplicates, they do little and may hurt. Each page should also line up with a corresponding, consistent local profile so the model can corroborate it.
