Content length is not an AI-visibility factor in itself; what matters is whether a page completely and clearly answers the question it targets. Assistants favor content they can quote — a passage that states a fact, defines a term, or answers a question directly and accurately — and a page needs enough substance to do that well, which is why thin, three-sentence pages often fail to get cited. But length past the point of completeness buys nothing: padding a page to hit a word count dilutes the quotable answer, buries the specifics, and makes a model work harder to find the sentence worth lifting. The goal is answer-density, not volume — cover the question and its natural follow-ups fully, structure it so each answer is easy to extract, and stop when you have actually answered it. A focused page that fully resolves a real question will out-cite a padded one every time, and a sprawling page that never quite answers anything is worse than a short one that does.
