Schema markup is one of the higher-leverage technical AI-visibility factors because it converts the facts on your page — your business name, category, location, services, hours, reviews and FAQs — into the labeled, machine-readable format assistants read most reliably. When your pages carry correct Organization, LocalBusiness, Product, Review and FAQ schema, you stop making models infer who you are from prose and instead hand them unambiguous statements they can trust and reuse verbatim in an answer. It won't manufacture authority you haven't earned — reviews, citations and a clear entity still decide far more — but schema is how you make sure the authority you do have is read correctly, tied to the right entity, and not lost to a model guessing. The move that works is marking up your real, visible facts accurately (never inventing ratings or data that isn't on the page), keeping the markup consistent with your other listings, and validating it so a single syntax error doesn't silently void the whole block.
