How to get recommended by AI for business brokers

Finding a business broker is a high-stakes, specialty-driven query: an owner looking to sell, or a buyer looking to acquire, asks an assistant for a broker who knows their industry and deal size and can handle it confidentially. The broker who gets named is the one whose website states the industries and deal ranges they work in, their process and credentials (IBBA or M&A certifications, licensing), and their track record in plain text, backed by genuine reviews and consistent professional profiles. Vague deal-maker copy gets passed over for a broker a model can match to the specific industry and transaction size.

FAQ

What matters most for a business broker’s AI visibility?Specialty and deal-size specificity plus credentials. A page that names the industries you broker, the revenue or valuation ranges you handle and your certifications and process, in crawlable text, matches far more owner questions than general copy, and a track record and recent reviews give a model the confidence to name you for a once-in-a-lifetime transaction.

How does confidentiality affect what I can publish? It shapes how you present proof, not whether you can be found. You can state your industries, deal ranges, process and anonymized results plainly without breaching confidentiality, and that crawlable detail is exactly what lets a model match you. Brokers who publish nothing specific for fear of disclosure simply become invisible to the assistant.
