GuideHow to get Meta AI to recommend your business
`Meta AI is embedded across WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and Facebook, which puts it in front of billions of people who increasingly ask it 'who's a good [business] for X?'. It answers from its underlying models plus web and Meta-ecosystem signals — so being named depends on the same foundations: a business Meta AI can resolve as a real, clearly-described entity, cited and reviewed consistently across the web, with an active, coherent presence on Meta's own platforms. A complete Facebook and Instagram presence that clearly states who you are and what you do adds entity signal on the surfaces Meta AI knows best.`
FAQ
What makes Meta AI recommend a business?A resolvable, well-described entity, consistent citations and reviews across the open web, and a coherent presence on Meta's platforms. Meta AI can read your Facebook and Instagram profiles directly, so completing those — clear category, description, location and links — reinforces the entity it names, on top of the broader web signals it shares with other assistants.
Should I focus on my Facebook and Instagram pages for Meta AI?Complete and consistent profiles help, because they're first-party entity signals on Meta's own surfaces. But don't stop there — Meta AI still leans on the wider citation graph, reviews and authoritative mentions, so treat social profiles as one reinforcing input alongside your Google/Bing/Apple listings and third-party citations.
